Corporate Social Responsibility

One thing that we haven’t lost sight of during our growth to date is where we have come from. Helping others is a big deal to us!

We are passionate about Birmingham. We are passionate about making our city a better place. That is why we are committed to helping other organisations that share these values. LoveBrum is the charity for an even better Birmingham. It supports hidden gem, volunteer-led projects across the city that deliver real tangible change. We find it fascinating and inspiring that every penny the charity makes via fundraising goes straight to the chosen causes, and the charity supports at least 36 of these a year. A massive “bravo” to that.

It is great to know that we have been able to build LoveBrum a website that it is proud of.
A website that helps position the brand in a way that it has fast become one of the most recognised charities in the city. Equally as important to us, is that the partnership with LoveBrum has enabled our team to get involved with a number of volunteering opportunities and fundraising events; from rolling their sleeves up and helping out at local soup kitchens, to running half marathons.

Giving something back is very important to us and helping make a difference to the city in which our team work, live and play is very motivating.

“Being a Brummie myself and co-founding Love Brum provides me with a purpose to give back to the city that has supported our growth.”

PJ Ellis
Director, Lightbox

As a patron for the Birmingham based charity LoveBrum, Lightbox fully embraced the opportunity to support the charity by designing and building them a new website so they could support the ‘hard-to-reach’ projects; those causes that are not that well profiled, or do not receive the platform, and funding, that they probably deserve. The support continues to this day.

Run forest, run!

The Lightbox team were part of an 80-strong LoveBrum team of runners who were all completing the Birmingham half-marathon to raise funds for, and help, the charity to continue to do the incredible work with local community projects.

What a fantastic day it was and despite the weather, everyone was in good spirits and the supporters came out to line the roads and walkways to encourage the runners. All of the Lightbox team managed to complete the 13.1 miles in around the 2 hour mark which is a fantastic achievement for our first attempt.

During 2018 we were very proud to support the Wesleyan to launch two fully responsive websites which enabled them to go on to sell more than one thousand books in less than a week, raising over £20,000 for Partnership for children and achieving a five star rating on Amazon in the process.

At Lightbox we were thrilled to have the opportunity to support Jessica at the Wesleyan with their ambitious but very successful projects. Win! Win.

“A fabulous team of creatives who always put the customer at the heart of what they do. Fun, professional and always willing to go the extra mile!”
